## What consumes credits

Credits are drawn down by three families of operation, on both the REST API and the MCP server:

- **Search** — returning companies or prospects matching a set of filters.
- **Enrichment** — adding attributes to a company or person already matched.
- **Events** — retrieving business or prospect event signals.

Cost can be checked before an operation runs: the MCP server exposes an `estimate-cost` tool, and `show-sample` previews a result table before a full export is paid for.

## What is included

- All paid plans include access to the full suite of account and prospect enrichments and events.
- Enterprise adds volume discounts, additional queries per minute, search preview, resell rights, custom CRM integrations and a dedicated customer success manager.

## Terms

- Plans are one-time credit purchases, not subscriptions.
- Paid credits expire 12 months after purchase and do not carry forward.
- Packages are non-refundable and do not renew automatically.
- Service stops when credits are exhausted before renewal.
- Consumption is tracked in the Explorium admin console at https://admin.explorium.ai.
