Unstructured Data

Unstructured data is a generic designation that describes data outside any type of structure. It’s safe to say that unstructured data doesn't follow a clear schema. For example, unstructured text data is generated by emails, PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, collaboration, and instant messaging software. Unstructured, non-textual data is generated via media such as JPEG images, MP3 audio files, or Flash video files.
