As the Director of Sales at Explorium, your role is crucial in driving sales success within the Enterprise market. You will lead and develop our Account Executive team to achieve revenue targets while also owning your individual quota. This player-coach position offers growth potential into a full-time leadership role, where you will spearhead strategic initiatives, optimize sales processes, enhance performance, and drive maximum revenue generation

Remote (United States) - Must be willing to work Eastern Time hours


Responsibilities:

  • Hire, onboard, train, and manage a team of Account Executives
  • Manage your own book of business of Enterprise & Strategic accounts, closing net new deals.
  • Build and execute territory and account plans 
  • Set and achieve monthly pipeline goals for the team, while providing continuous feedback.
  • Partner with GTM leadership to iterate on our existing sales process.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Operations on forecasting process.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s with reps and host team meetings to ensure alignment and success.
  • Work closely with the Customer Facing Data Science (Sales Engineering) team to deliver proof of values and demos to prospective customers.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze metrics, and provide reports for continuous improvement.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities.

Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree or higher. (Or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of B2B SaaS Account Executive experience with an emphasis on closing net new deals (additional sales leadership experience is a plus)
  • 2+ years of closing experience selling to enterprise companies (1-5k+ employees)
  • Proven track record of quota attainment in a metrics-focused organization.
  • Strong professional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent understanding of the AI/ML space. 
  • Commitment, attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking are essential for thriving in a performance-oriented culture.
  • Must be a self-starter, comfortable with limited supervision, and able to work in a multicultural startup environment.
