As a Manager of Sales Development at Explorium, you will lead our US Sales Development Representative (SDR) team toward achieving pipeline goals while serving as a mentor to support the professional growth of individual team members. You will be responsible for training our existing team of SDRs on outbound, enterprise sales skills and tactics, and hiring and onboarding new reps as needed. You will collaborate closely with senior leaders in Marketing, and Operations to develop prospecting strategies that maximize the team's quota attainment and to ensure that the SDR team delivers on lead quality, conversion, and overall pipeline generation.

Responsibilities:

  • Become an expert on Explorium’s solutions.
  • Hire, onboard, train, and manage a team of SDRs at varying levels of experience.
  • Train SDRs on sales tools such as Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, etc.
  • Train SDRs on cold calling, emailing, objection handling, lead sourcing, and more.
  • Conduct weekly 1:1s with individual reps and host weekly team meetings
  • Develop and improve SDR workflows and processes to maximize the quantity, quality, and conversion rates of prospects.
  • Establish and refine outbound sales development processes.
  • Work directly with our Chief Marketing Officer to establish and iterate on our current outbound prospecting strategy.
  • Work with finance, sales, operations, support, product, and executive teams to ensure alignment across the organization locally and globally.
  • Set and achieve monthly pipeline goals and provide continuous feedback.

Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • 3+ years of experience in enterprise software sales
  • 2+ years of sales leadership experience (e.g., team lead, manager, etc.).
  • Proven track record of quota attainment as both an individual contributor and leader in a metrics-focused organization.
  • Strong professional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent understanding of LinkedIn Sales Navigator (prior experience with Salesforce, Outreach, and ZoomInfo is a plus).
  • Demonstrated ability to train and coach sales representatives, resulting in measurable results.
  • Commitment, attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking are essential for thriving in a performance-oriented culture.
  • Must be a self-starter, comfortable with limited supervision, and able to work in a multicultural startup environment.
