For almost 40 years, Chicago Compressor & Specialty Products has been providing standard-setting remanufactured York compressors, refrigerant storage & recovery systems, and a host of other specialty products and services. Since the very beginning, we've been remanufacturing York compressors using only factory-approved parts and engineering-certified processes. We also offer both customized and ready-to-ship refrigerant recovery & storage systems that help businesses stay on top of their operations and minimize their equipment downtimes. Additionally, our specialty products and services go beyond RSR: our PressurePak units facilitate checks for chiller leaks in an easy and fast manner, and our motor rewinding and repair services allow customers to avoid the expense of completely replacing damaged motors. Between all of our offerings, we provide products and services that are critical to many businesses and operations. Although our history demonstrates consistent quality and service over the years, we haven't always been called Chicago Compressor & Specialty Products. In fact, our business all started with a one-man operation under the York brand in 1982. The remanufacturing shop was born from the York Regional Parts Center in Wheeling, Illinois. From there it grew for 22 years, until the shop was acquired by Johnson Controls in 2004. This arrangement lasted just over a decade, until Resolute Industrial took ownership of the business as part of a major acquisition in 2015. Now under Resolute's wing, our business has taken on the name of Chicago Compressor & Specialty Products. But while our name and ownership has changed over the years, the quality services and products we provide are just as excellent as they were in 1982.
