MISSION About Us: The Colon-Dryden Greater Augusta Chapter of Tuskegee Airmen, Incorporated, is an organization wherein the youth can expect the activities to be something quite different. We introduce and expose our participants to high end technically and academically challenging careers and encourage them to develop a fluid mindset that will enhance their creative thinking and decision-making skills and provide them with strategies, training and a challenging paradigm for success. Our Mission Is: To perpetuate the activities and achievements of those Americans who shared in the aspirations, successes and frustrations of the pioneering men and women in the Tuskegee Experience, United States Army Air Corps; To accomplish the goals of the National organization, Tuskegee Airmen, Incorporated; To conduct historical research and documentation of the achievement of those Tuskegee Airmen who served our country in the subject era; To engage in motivation of all youth towards aviation and aerospace careers; To actively motivate and inspire all youth to outstanding achievement and leadership in our democratic society through social and educational activities; To address matters of social concern and engage in activities in furtherance of organizational objectives; To acquire and administer funds and property, which after payment of necessary expenses shall be devoted exclusively to research charitable, literary, and educational purposes. What We Do: The Colon-Dryden Greater Augusta Chapter of Tuskegee Airmen, Incorporated, has a strong commitment to working with the youth of our community to help enhance their career aspirations and achievements. We educate all walks of our society on the history and contributions of the Tuskegee Airmen through the use of all forms of communication and media. We provide tuition assistance and support for needy youth aspirants by means of exposure to aviation, aerospace and related fields.
