Maison Bertrand was founded in 1931 as the Monogram Coffee Company in Shreveport La. Just like back when we began, our iconic chicory coffee is the star of the show. Today, however, we bring the celebration of Louisiana tradition and culture to every product in our family. From fresh roasted coffee beans to our flavor-packed apple cider caramels, we credit all we do to those who showed us the way. Thats why we roast coffee beans from local farms in regions throughout Ethiopia where the ancient practice of coffee drinking began. Thats why we still use the recipes from our Grandmas, Grandpas, Great Aunts, Great Uncles, Mothers and Fathers. We honor the history, the love passed down, and the nostalgia it brings.
