Nu-Art Graphics has a family history that extends back to 1890 when Dr. Walter Snyder founded the National Decalcomania Company. Located in Philadelphia, National Decal was one of the first decal manufacturing companies and was the first screen printing manufacturing company in the United States. In 1922, when National applied to the state of Pennsylvania for Incorporation, its objective was the manufacturing, purchasing and selling of decalcomania lithographic and transfer products, and articles of similar and cognate character.
