Rock Hill Woodworking Co., Inc. was founded in 1942 in Rock Hill, Missouri where it continued to operate until January 2007. President, Gene Kirkpatrick, has been running the business since purchasing the company in 1990. He has expanded and built up the business to the point that it became necessary to relocate to a larger, more modern facility. Now located at 3660 Lynntown Drive in Breckenridge Hills, MO 63114, Rock Hill Woodworking is located in the center of St. Louis County. The new facility is totally climate controlled, giving them the ability to produce their products in a temperature and humidity controlled environment thus providing a more stable product. Using new, state of the art equipment, RHW is one of the very few architectural millwork shops in the Midwest to use the PowerCom system from Weinig. Rock Hill Woodworking can computer match any profile using a CNC template maker, an OptiControl measuring stand and a computer networked, 6 head Weinig moulder. This new equipment has enabled RHW to produce their mouldings with shorter lead times while still maintaining the highest quality. All knife grinding is done in house to ensure an exact match and the quickest turn around time. A dedicated arch moulder can produce curves to match the straight runs as well as produce elliptical mouldings, full circles and ovals.
