Safe-Cut is a very unique, patented hydro-cutting service offered by Mass Technology Corporation headquartered in Kilgore, TX. Since obtaining the patent in 2007, Safe-Cut has provided multiple cutting applications at 87 refineries, 34 LST sites, 19 chemical manufacturing sites and many other types of industry in 36 states across the US. By utilizing the patented "Ragworm Technology" the system efficiently cuts storage tanks bottom plate for removal / replacement, doors for access and damaged roofs for replacement. Also cuts SRU's, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, FCCU's, towers / columns, hydrotreaters, etc. Safe-Cut cuts 1/4" carbon steel plate at 30" a minute while using less than 1 GPM of water and a cutting pressure of up to 60,000 PSI.
