The Atlantic Mills hosts a diverse community of painters, apparel designers, manufacturers, woodworkers, videographers, musicians, and distributors. A fixture of the Olneyville neigborhood, the Atlantic Mills is right off Route 6 and surrounded by great food and services, as well as unique shopping opportunites. Known for its pair of iconic towers, the Atlantic Mills began as the home the the Atlantic Delaine factory, a worsted manufacturer, in the mid-1800s. Later, in 1904, the complex was bought by the A.D. Julliard Company, who ran it until the textile company went out of business. Since 1986, the Atlantic Mills has been home to the Big Top Flea Market, Providence's oldest flea.
