TimberHP is a privately held, Maine-based building products corporation founded in 2017 to develop and manufacture renewable, biodegradable, non toxic wood fiber insulation for the residential and light commercial construction market. Global climate change is an urgent threat. It must be addressed. And simply put, we are running out of time to do so. Right now, an astounding 44% percent of global carbon emissions come from energy consumed by residential and commercial buildings. Its an unsustainable dynamic that wont change unless we come up with new ways to make the built environment more carbon neutral. Once operational, this plant will turn daily shipments of wood chips from lumber yards around the state, into cost competitive, environmentally sustainable, transformative insulation products.
